Farrer & Cie
Farrer & Co has appointed Edward Floyd to join their family team and as a partner, taking up their duties on December 6. He will be leaving Penningtons Cooper Sleeves, where he was a partner in the London office.
Advising a wide range of clients, including city professionals and contractors, Floyd is a family law attorney. He advises on the full spectrum of family law, including divorce and financial remedies, pre and post-marriage agreements, and custody arrangements. Much of his practice is international in nature with recent and key cases involving work with Russia, the United States and Switzerland.
Floyd’s arrival follows the appointment of Gerard Heyes as a side partner hired in the Farrer & Co Disputes team in May of this year.
LGT Capital Partners
LGT Capital Partners has appointed Wael El Burji as Managing Director and Senior Executive to lead and expand its presence in the Middle East.
Prior to his appointment, he worked at Amundi Asset Management as a Director overseeing relationships with a range of institutional investors and leading the distribution business on behalf of third parties in the Middle East.
